Eco Paper
Eco Paper is a combination of mineral powder (>75%) and a small quantity (<25%) of non-toxic resin combined to create an environmentally friendly paper. The production of Eco Paper requires no water, so the paper making process incurs no water pollutants. Used Eco Paper will start to degrade under the proper environmental conditions of high heat, moisture and UV light. Most importantly, in producing Eco Paper, the harvesting of trees is unnecessary, thereby safeguarding the natural environment’s beauty and biodiversity for all living beings. Eco Paper also has beautiful printing capabilities and a unique texture and feel. Because the paper is fiberless, it does not absorb ink like regular paper and also uses less ink than regular paper. Images stay much crisper and cleaner because the ink doesn’t bleed. Eco Paper is water-resistant and inherently strong and durable.

No Wood-Pulp

In order to produce a metric ton of traditional wood pulp papers, an average of four metric tons of wood chips is utilized, which is the equivalent of felling approximately 23 large trees. Even so, this is merely the start of a long list of environmental costs of using traditional wood pulp paper.
Of the trees harvested globally for industrial uses, nearly half goes to pulp and paper production and, the demand for wood pulp remains insatiable. In light of the continuing trends, it has been estimated that only 5% of all tropical forests will remain by mid-century to the detriment of biodiversity. Even at the present, less than 20% of the world's original forest cover remains intact, and much of what does remain is already threatened by commercial logging. Although about 30% of the world's wood pulp supply now comes from tree farms, by and large forest-harvested timber still dominates supply. In truth, even if artificial tree plantations have taken some pressure off deforestation, tree farms host about 90% fewer animal species than the natural forests that preceded them. Indeed, 1/3 of the world's biodiversity has been irrevocably lost since 1970. That the continual reliance on traditional wood pulp papers is environmentally unsustainable is not news. Clearly, the environment needs our help and Awesome BioTech has and will continue to take proactive steps to ensure environmental protection by continuing to produce eco-friendly paper. Awesome BioTech's Technology has invented new papermaking principles, producing a family of paper products which are pulp-free. Harvesting trees to make paper is therefore, no longer, the only option. No Water Pollution

A key motivation to the design of Awesome BioTech's ingenious waterless papermaking technology comes from the passion Awesome BioTech has towards protecting the environment. Unlike traditional papermaking methods, Awesome BioTech's papermaking methods does not require copious amounts of precious water to get rid of the acid, alkaline and bleaching agents which are used extensively in traditional paper manufacturing process. By taking measures to not involve water in the papermaking process, Awesome BioTech has taken a significant step in its mission to be Eco-Friendly.

No Air Pollution |
Awesome BioTech's papermaking processes does not emit toxic gas. As prevention is better than solution, designing a production process to prevent discharge of toxic gas in the first place is clearly the more efficient and effective method than having to manage the toxic gas later. We should not be denied of quality air, Awesome BioTech not only understand but has also taken active steps to ensure toxic gas are not emitted by its papermaking technology.

Easily Recycled |
Awesome BioTech's Paper Products can be recycled by converting used stone paper into stone paper pellets. The stone paper pellets can then be used in the production of new stone paper or be used in other reycled plastic applications. In contrast, traditional methods of recycling pulp-paper is a complex process which requires water for further bleaching processes resulting in waste water which needs to be treated. The simplicity in recycling Awesome BioTech's Paper Products reduces resource wastage.

Degradable |
Degradable Awesome BioTech's Paper Products are photodegradable. Experimentations on a Awesome BioTech's Paper sample with a thickness of 200μm showed the paper began to photodegrade and crack like an egg shell when exposed to direct sunlight for approximately 6 months.
Awesome BioTech's Paper Products will not photodegrade in your home when kept indoors and away from sunlight. Perhaps you might be concerned, what if you require the paper for outdoor usage?
